The AIOF supports Zichron Menachem Association of Jerusalem

The Israeli Association Zichron Menachem (ZM) located in Jerusalem supports children's cancer patients and their families for 21 years. From the screening of the disease, and children and their families are supported.
The action of ZM takes place at the hospital, day center and the homes of families throughout the year. The assistance of ZM allows the child and his family to fight against the disease with a smile and hope.
The AIOF has already assisted in the past, during his annual trip to Israel in 2006. On this occasion we offered computer equipment allowing the child to maintain contact with his school and his classmates, as well as additional equipment for ambulances facilant transport children in infusions.
Highlights of these activities are three camps:
- in winter in Eilat,
- Spring in Galilee
- summer abroad.
During these camps, children forget their fear and their pain and rediscover the "joy of living." These holiday spent with friends and volunteers in an intoxicating atmosphere ZM make their physical and mental strength that will allow them to continue their painful treatments with renewed courage.
Supervision is provided by dedicated volunteers who accompany them throughout the year. To ensure the health and
welfare of children at camp is accompanied by a psycho-medical team including a psychologist, several doctors and aides and a major medical device more than 2.5 tons of equipment médical.Afin appreciate the work accomplished by ZM visit the links attached
